Performance Part：Yes This is a vintage Stewart Warner Green Line 160 MPH speedometer. The model number printed on the side of the case is 550DH as shown. The date code is J5 which decodes as May, 1965. This is the early design Greenline speedo with the large number for the first digit of each speed and small numbers for the 2nd and 3rd digits. Dont miss this awesome example.
This speedo is in very nice original condition as shown. This speedo is New Old Stock and has never been used. That said, it may have been installed in a dash at some pint, Im not sure. The odometer showed 1.1 miles showing when I got it. After testing the speedo, the odometer is now right at 2 miles mile as shown in one of the pictures. The face is bright, chrisp, and easy to read. The lens is real glass and in great shape with no cracks or scratching. The front bezel shines well with some aging as shown. The case is in good condition with the factory ink stampings intact.This speedo has been tested and works well and returns to zero when not in use. This is a very nice true vintage Stewart Warner speedometer.
