This show was the legendary first appearance of Moe, Larry, and Shemp, who would later be known as the Three Stooges. This program is for the Broadway run the week of May 26, 1929, which was the second week of the run (it opened May 21,1929). Stooges fans know the story so we wont repeat it all here, but this is a fabulous, complete example that we believe came out of the collection of the NY Public Library (it was with a large collection of others that were stamped with the librarys mark). Complete with 40 pages. Size is 5 1/4" x 8." Terrific cover art by famed illustrator Albert Dorne.

Condition: VF, bright and clean. Overall minor age toning and surface wear. No writing. No rust to expédition the staples. Has a small edge tear on the back cover. A beautiful piece.
